Day 4 of our gratitude journey …
Be aware of those who you ‘eat with’…..yet do not be eager nor be premature to get rid, demote, belittle, fear any of those Judas’. Timing is everything, and history has shown that your enemies will ALWAYS expose themselves one way or another. Why should we not get rid of them? The Judas’ are the ones assigned to sharpen our character, broaden our temperament and drive your capabilities in ways that no friend could ever do! Be thankful for the night, as well as the day.
Gratitude Action Items:
1. Make a list of those who do not care for you, talk about you, manipulate you, or use you. They may exhibit hater tendencies.
2. For each of your Judas’, identify what he/she did to cause the offense.
3. Try and define ‘Your Mark of Maturity’ – Did you or do you understand their situation?
4. For some of you this may be easy. Others of you, such as myself, this was a rather painful challenge. Sort of like extracting teeth, but this is why we are calling this challenge. Can you recognize areas of opportunity for gratitude to be exhibited? Stretch yourself and try.
When you identify the moments of gratitude, you begin to feel a little lighter. Why? Forgiveness begins to emerge and when forgiveness steps in something
usually drops off.
