Day 10| Personal Boundaries
Day 10 of our 21 Days of Gratitude …..has our gratefulness towards our personal boundaries. I’ll never forget a quote that I heard years ago…”Make decisions which makes decisions for you.” The example shared was a business owner who made a decision to remain faithful to his wife. That was Decision 1. Decision 2 was put in place to ensure Decision 1 was upheld. With Decision 2, the business owner hired an unattractive secretary. :-O Consciously making decisions which help make decisions for you is really another way of establishing boundaries.
Gratitude Action Items:
The 4 keys to establishing healthy boundaries for your life:
1) Recognize & Prioritize your critical life pillars. These are items/areas that are meaningful and vital to your personal core.
2) Determine & List what would contaminate /sabotage each pillar.
3) Create an action plan for each listed item (step 2) by identifying preventive measures that would eliminate potential contamination.
4) Put safety measures in place by making decisions that make decisions for you.
